Chet Valley Medical Practice is seeking a lead receptionist to join their team, on a part-time basis, for a minimum of 30 hours per week. Reporting to the deputy practice manager, this role will be responsible for the efficient management and direction of the reception team.
Duties include:
- Oversee the reception area and support operations of the practice, ensuring staff achieve their primary responsibilities
- Line manage all reception staff, supporting staff development, providing guidance and direction, ensuring staff are up to date with mandatory training
- Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality due to the nature of the role and with being exposed to a greater level of confidential material and data
- Support, create and maintain clinical rotas for all types of appointments
- Support in the coordination of the home visits rota
- Complete staff appraisals as required
- Identify and deliver team training where required
- Compile reception team rota
- Review and update all reception policies and procedures as required
- Support the management team in the compilation of practice reports and the practice development plan
- Develop, implement and embed efficient processes and procedures to adhere to extant legislation

- Leadership and/or management qualification

Chet Valley Medical Practice is based within the village of Loddon, in our spacious purpose-built premises. We have a list size of 9,000 patients, and cover an area including Loddon, Chedgrave and the surrounding villages including Norton Sub Course, Hoverston and Surlingham.
