Our PCN are recruiting for 2 physician associates to be employed by Ivry Street Medical Practice - one permanent post and one fixed-term maternity cover post, hours are flexible, up to full-time. The postholder will undertake duties in accordance with the PCN DES (Primary Care Network Directed Enhanced Service) specification. This includes supporting clinical and administrative services, patient care coordination, and assisting the practice team in delivering high-quality patient care.

About us
Barrack Lane is a busy practice in the town centre of Ipswich, Suffolk. We have a practice population of over 20,000 patients. The practice is based on two sites, the main surgery in the centre of the town, and a branch surgery at Stoke Park. Barrack Lane is part of a PCN (Primary Care Network) with Ivry Street Medical Centre, in Ipswich, and the two practices cover a population of 32,000 patients. The PCN allows the practices to share resources and offer an enhanced service to our patients.

Person Specification
Experience
- At least 2 years experience in secondary care
- Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- Experience in primary care desirable
Qualifications
- Qualified Physician Associate and registered with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- A postgraduate degree in Physician Associate Studies from an accredited PA programme
- Membership of the Faculty of Physician Associates at the RCP, which includes UK Physician Associate Registration (the PA Managed Voluntary Register)
- Current and valid certification or re-certification by the UK Physician Associate National Examination
