The Holbrook and Shotley practice are seeking a Clinical Coder to join their team on a part-time basis for 2 days a week, working Mondays and Wednesdays.

The main responsibilities of the role include:
  • Coding clinical documents accurately and within a 48 hour timescale
  • Forwarding clinical documents to Clinicians following the Practice Protocol
  • Carrying out clinical document follow-up actions following the Practice Protocol
  • Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF) - you will be responsible for allocated QOF Clinical Indicators to achieve targets for the Practice

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following;

  • A strong attention to detail, ability to work to a high standard and at a fast pace
  • Ability to manage own workload
  • A team player, flexible and able to cover annual leave or sickness
  • Experience in Clinical Coding/QOF/SystmOne for this specialised role, although we would welcome applications from candidates who have experience of working in the NHS or Primary Care in another role or coding experience in a hospital

The Holbrook and Shotley Practice is a GP Practice across two surgery sites. We pride ourselves on providing a high standard of care to our 8000 patients. Our practice team comprises of three GP partners, two salaried GPs, supported by a highly experienced team of nurses, dispensers, paramedics, and reception team.
