Lighthouse Dental Practice is seeking a passionate clinical educator and dental therapist to join our growing team in Ipswich, Suffolk on a part-time basis. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional to combine clinical excellence with educational leadership in a supportive, modern practice environment.
The primary focus of this role will be supporting university student placements and clinical education as well as dental therapy sessions from this October. We are a progressive dental practice committed to delivering outstanding patient care while fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Main duties of the job- Provide high-quality dental therapy treatments including preventive care, restorative procedures, and oral health education.
- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform scaling and polishing, fissure sealants, and simple restorative work.
- Administer local anaesthesia and provide pain management as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure integrated patient care.
