Little Waltham and Great Notley surgeries are looking for a Human Resources Manager required for their busy two site GP practice. This role is offered on a part-time basis for 25 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime. Working alongside our Practice and Business Managers, the successful applicant would:

  • Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning, maintaining records including training, performance reviews, and sickness.
  • Develop employee engagement across the practice and manage complex employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances, absence issues, and redundancies.
  • Provide guidance and support for HR personnel, ensuring HR compliance across the practice.
  • Review and update practice protocols in line with current regulations.

About the Candidate

If you are an experienced HR Manager looking for a new challenge, then we would love to hear from you. All applicants should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Preferably CIPD qualified level 5 (or equivalent), with at least 5 years post qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Proven ability of managing a team within a busy environment.
  • Ability to manage, coach and guide team members and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills with a logical approach to conflict management.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

About Us

We are a 2-site, friendly training practice with over 21,000 patients. You will be supported by our team of 14 doctors, 3 nurse practitioners, nurses, healthcare assistants, receptionist, and admin team.
