Mayflower Medical Centre in Harwich are looking to recruit an organised and experienced Medical Secretary to our team.
The role is being offered on a part-time basis for 30 hours per week.
The main responsibilities of the role include
- Providing a full secretarial service including the typing of letters, reports, patient referrals, meeting minutes, memorandums, etc.
- Handling queries regarding hospital appointments and treatments.
- Ensuring that any requests for information are appropriately dealt with and that all subsequent charges are invoiced appropriately.
- Arranging meetings (to include the booking of rooms) as required.
- Designing template letters and forms for use throughout the practice.
- Maintaining the clinical system, in an accurate and secure manner.
- Assisting with the gathering of statistics and information.
- About the Candidate
