Mayflower Medical Centre on behalf of Stour Estuary PCN, are seeking a GP Assistant to join the Pro-Active Care team and Practice teams of Fronk's Road Family Surgery and Harewood Surgery.
This role is offered on a fixed term contract until 31st March 2027, subject to continued funding and is offered on a part time basis of 18 hours per week.
Our team includes GP's, ANP's, nurses, pharmacists, dispensers and administrative staff working collaboratively to support our patient population.
The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting our GP's with a mix of administrative and clinical tasks in the community and practice including:
- Taking patient histories, preparing examination rooms, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Taking and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature and weight.
- Assisting with routine medical procedures under supervision.
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is recorded in electronic health records.
- Supporting patient experience by reiterating information from the GP.
- Maintaining a clean and organised environment in the practice.
