Vida Healthcare have currently several vacancies to join their community support team working out in the community and across our practices. These positions can be offered on a full or part-time basis so please apply to discuss.

The post-holder will be responsible for assisting the GPs and clinical team in the service and delivery of the care to the practice population in the community setting. They will perform home visits and assessments based on identified needs, and may also deliver a booked clinic within the practice premises.

Main duties of the job:
  • Undertake, record and follow guidelines for the tasks related to results management
  • Measure and record blood pressure, pulse rate and rhythm, temperature, height/weight and BMI
  • Perform ECGs, blood glucose monitoring and venepuncture
  • Administer influenza vaccines and B12 injections
  • Undertake foot checks for diabetic patients

About us: Vida Healthcare is a multi-site, part-dispensing GP partnership looking after approx. 30,300 patients across 4 sites in 3 locations in West Norfolk. We are highly organised and efficient with incredible support teams. Additionally supported by the PCN working together to deliver high quality primary healthcare. Person Specification:
  • Experience: Minimum 18 months with Vida healthcare or health care service experience
  • Advanced knowledge of long-term conditions and management
  • Enthusiasm and motivation
  • Ability to exceed expectations with patient care
  • Full UK driving licence
Qualifications:
  • NA Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social or Clinical care (preferred)
