Perfect Smile Clinic in Sudbury are keen to welcome a dental nurse to join our experienced and friendly team. This position can be offered on a full or part-time basis, depending on the candidate. The primary responsibility of the role will be to provide clinical support for a wide range of treatments across a broad client base, working alongside highly experienced dental clinicians, therapists, nurses and receptionists.
Main duties of the job:
- Assisting in the full range of dental care provided to patients, from supporting with routine examinations to advanced specialist treatments.
- Welcoming patients and reassuring them of the treatments.
- Providing chair support whilst patients receive treatments, responding quickly to requests.
- Assisting with all aspects of patient dental care and treatment including check-ups to fillings, x-rays to sterilising tools.
- Preparing and mixing dental materials.
- Maintaining and updating patient records.
- Stock control.
- Reassuring patients, responding to individual patient needs.
- Undertaking reception duties when required e.g., greeting service users, answering the telephone, making appointments, explaining service user charges and collecting service user charges.
- Liaising with the dental team, senior leaders and wider colleagues to maintain the effective running of the dental service.

Here at the Perfect Smile Clinic in Sudbury we pride ourselves on providing our patients with the highest quality dental care, using the most up to date dental techniques in relaxed and comfortable surroundings. As well as providing high quality routine dental treatment available under the NHS or on a private basis. We can offer most cosmetic dental treatments including orthodontics as well as periodontal treatment, prosthodontics and dental implants. We also offer facial rejuvenation procedures using dermal fillers and botox. We take time to listen to our patients concerns and expectations and then together develop a realistic treatment plan to help them to achieve their individual goals.

- Independently owned practice open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
- 5 surgery dental practice
- Practice has been established 30+ years, with 14 years under the current owners
- Parking available nearby the practice

Person Specification:
- Qualifications: National diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3 or equivalent. Valid GDC registration.
- Experience: Previous experience as a dental nurse.
- Disclosure and Barring Service Check: This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
