Creffield Medical Group are seeking an experienced PA/Secretary to join our team to provide support to our clinical teams. This position is offered on a part-time basis for 22.5 hours per week over 3 days - Monday, Tuesday and Fridays.
You will be supporting teams at both our sites, West Bergholt and Nayland Surgeries. Working under the direction of the Practice Manager and GP Partners, duties will include:
- Supporting the clinical teams with day to day administration tasks
- Organising meetings and scheduling adjustments
- Preparing documentation for meetings and taking minutes
- Dealing with enquiries, medical notes and results letters
- Managing the teams' diaries and rotas
- Managing annual leave requests
- Providing cover for other teams' PAs
- Liaising with external agencies to resolve patient issues
- Assisting with reports and gathering of statistics

- Audio- and touch-typing skills.
- Strong administrative experience and good organisation skills.
- NHS experience/knowledge of medical terminology desirable.
- Excellent general IT skills including MS Office and experience of working with a clinical system.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and to work accurately under pressure.
