GP Primary Choice are looking to recruit a full-time Clinical Services Administrator on a 1 year fixed term contract to provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to our clinics. This is a key role ensuring the effective running of various clinics and carrying out administration tasks in a timely manner within target timeframes.

Duties will include:

  • Receive and greet patients who are attending the clinics in a polite and friendly manner
  • Manage the electronic booking system, checking patients in on arrival and registering them on SystmOne
  • Telephone patients with the results/outcomes of their appointment
  • Support with medication requests and monitor reviews for patients
  • Provide administrative support in the event of an outbreak/emergency
  • Reception duties
  • Work with staff from external organisations to support effective joint working with partners
  • Liaise closely with members of the team ensuring effective communication

To be considered for this position, you will require the following:

  • Good understanding and knowledge of a full range of administrative procedures and organisational duties
  • Good IT skills, e.g., how to use a laptop and office products
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Understanding of SystmOne desirable
  • Experience in primary care is desirable but is not essential and will be gained on the job
  • Training on the booking system will be given
