- Ensuring that requests for repeat prescriptions are actioned within 5 working days. This includes checking email requests, online, paper and phone.
- Responding to all queries and requests from chemists, nursing homes and district nurses, regarding the issue of prescriptions.
- Keeping repeat prescription information up-to-date in the patient journal, such as letters and doctors' requests.
- Medicine management β liaising and discussing any enquires or queries raised by the clinical team.
- General ad hoc administration work.
- Flexibility to cover other areas when required β multi-skill mix.
- Keep up-to-date with all prescribing guidelines and protocols, relevant to the position.
