Dr Khokher & Partners, Queens Park Group Surgery are looking to welcome a read coder/medical records administrator to our administration team. This position is offered on a 6 month fixed term contract, full or part-time hours are considered. We are a busy team and help make a positive impact to our practice of 23,500 patients located on three sites in Bedford.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Data entry and read coding of relevant patient information / medical data into clinical system.
- Scanning patient information into computerised records i.e. medical documents, hospital records and letters as necessary.
- Retrieving paper notes as requested.
- Actioning tasks set by clinicians and practice manager.
- Reviewing and summarising medical records.
Some flexibility is required as you will sometimes need to work additional/alternative hours to cover for colleagues.

We are a very long-established practice working across two sites in Bedford, looking after 12,500+ patients. We are also care-taking another local practice in Bedford, with a list size of 9,000+ patients.
