Smile Dental Centre based in Basildon are looking for a part-time Dental Nurse to join our team. Hours will be 24-30 per week, working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
The role will be predominantly assisting the dentist/hygienist in surgery with the occasional requirement to work on reception .
Responsibilities and duties will include;
- Assisting dentists/hygienist during procedures
- Taking and processing X-rays of patients
- Greeting patients as they arrive and scheduling appointments
- Updating and maintaining dental records on Exact software
About the Candidate
To be considered for this position, you will need the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Essential:
- Current GDC registration.
- Previous experience as a dental nurse
- Working knowledge of SOE Exact
- Up to date with all CPDs
- Hep B immunity
- Good communication skills
- Hard working
- Well organised
- Punctual
