Are you a GP with an interest in Clinical Governance? We are looking for a GP who will provide clinical leadership to ensure the safe, effective and high‑quality patient care across a group of Primary Care practices.
Key Details
- Salary: £125,000.00 per annum (pro rata)
- Location: Flexible within PC24 sites, including Wavertree Head office, Primary Care Hub (Sefton) & any PC24 GP practices.
- Contract: Permanent, part time (7.5 hours per week) flexible to meet the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Support the Quality team in the development and implementation of consistent clinical governance framework across all practices.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain regulatory compliance and the highest standards of patient safety.
- Lead or support the review of significant events, clinical incidents, and patient safety concerns.
- Support clinical audit and quality improvement programmes across the practices.
- Provide clinical input into patient complaints and concerns where appropriate, supporting practices in identifying learning opportunities from complaints and feedback.
- Support the development, review and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- GMC‑registered General Practitioner with licence to practise.
- Experience working in primary care.
- Understanding of clinical governance, patient safety and quality improvement principles.
- Experience participating in significant event reviews, audits or incident investigations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
- Ability to demonstrate commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
- Ability to work across multiple practice sites to attend governance meetings.
