Primary Care 24 (PC24) is a not‑for‑profit social enterprise delivering NHS contracts. We are recruiting Registered General Nurses for Brushwood and Millvina Care Homes in Liverpool. Positions are salaried or bank, with full‑time, part‑time or bank shifts available. Salaried positions offer a pro‑rata salary of £42,742.66 per annum (or £22.77 per hour for bank staff). Bank agreements allow you to bid for shifts that suit you.

Location: Brushwood & Millvina Care Homes, Liverpool.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a role model and promote the highest standard of person‑centred clinical nursing care to residents.
  • Act as the nominated nurse in charge, ensuring safe staffing levels using the agreed patient‑dependency score tool.
  • Work alongside the care team to deliver high‑quality care.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of adults.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate residents’ care via written care plans.
  • Support clinical and care‑home colleagues, families and other stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of care for all residents.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Experience caring for elderly, frail adults in community, social care, acute hospital or care‑home settings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in drafting comprehensive care plans.
  • Must be able to provide a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check.
