Overview
Driver Bank – Do you have driving & administration experience? We are looking for a Driver to come and join our bank team who will drive clinicians to home visits and cover reception duties in our Out of Hours services.
Responsibilities
Drive clinicians to home visits within our areas of operation and within set time frames.
Ensure the medical car is checked, properly equipped and all IT equipment logged on.
Carry out all administrative duties with attention to detail and confidentiality at all times.
Be fully up to date with all policies and procedures related to the role and ensure they are always followed.
Liaise with dispatchers during shifts when driving.
Ensure detailed handovers are complete after every shift.
Be the first point of contact greeting patients attending appointments, handling inquiries when covering reception duties.
Qualifications
- Full UK clean driving licence.
- Flexibility to cover all of PC24 sites: Halton, St Helens, Formby, Southport, Sefton & Liverpool.
- Great communication skills.
- Basic computer skills including keyboard and data entry skills.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct vehicle inspections, including checking oil levels, tire pressure and tread depth.
- A proactive mindset to seek guidance when required.
- Competent in using IT systems.
Shift Patterns
Cover locations and shift patterns which are 11pm‑8am, 8am‑1pm, 1pm‑6pm, 6pm‑11pm.
