Are you an Urgent Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner looking to join a growing social enterprise with great benefits including the NHS pension and NHS car fleet scheme? Primary Care 24 (PC24) are excited to share the position of Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) within our Out of Hours Services.
Within your professional boundaries you will assess, diagnose and provide advice, care and management to patients presenting with undiagnosed or undifferentiated illness via telephone consultations, or face to face assessments for patients requiring home visits.
Main duties of the job:- Undertake face to face and telephone triage consultations
- Interpret pathology/radiology results/reports
- Prescribe and review medication
- Plan, implement and evaluate an effective management plan for the patient
Shifts: 23:00-08:00 Monday-Sunday
Locations: Formby Clinic, Phillips Lane, Liverpool, L37 4AY; Lowe House Health Centre, 103 Crab Street, St Helens, Warrington, WA10 2DJ; Halton Hospital, Hospital Way, Palacefields, Runcorn, WA7 2DA.
What do you need: You will be an experienced ANP who is able to deliver quality individualised care to our patients with a high level of autonomy underpinned by the four pillars of Clinical practice, leadership and management, education and research.
- Full NMC Registration with no restrictions
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice is desirable; candidates who are working towards this qualification or who have relevant experience are encouraged to apply
- Non-Medical Prescriber V300
- Clinical Examination and Diagnostics Level 7
- You will have experience of working in the acute sector, urgent/emergency services environment, or out of hours services at a senior level
- Part-time and full-time positions available
- 27 days annual leave (pro-rata for part time positions)
