In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Provide end-to-end administrative and coordination support to the UK EHS function, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing agendas, taking minutes, tracking actions, and acting as a key liaison between EHS leaders, regional teams, and stakeholders.
- Manage EHS reporting, data, and performance tracking, including weekly and monthly reports, accident and enforcement data, KPIs, MI reports, budget monitoring, and analysis of costs versus budget, highlighting discrepancies and supporting resolution.
- Oversee EHS communications and systems, including managing the safety inbox, UK EHS SharePoint, PiNS, trackers, databases, and confidential documentation, ensuring accuracy, GDPR compliance, and timely information flow across regions.
- Support EHS governance, committees, and projects, providing secretariat support to EHS committees, coordinating regional and national calls, assisting with special projects, and proactively managing the UK EHS calendar to align objectives across regions.
- Coordinate operational EHS support activities, including PPE enquiries, training arrangements, environmental queries, enforcement visit data, consumables supply, eye vouchers, and support to stores and Head Office through Store Support channels.
- Work closely with the Regional EHS Manager and Head of EHS, acting as a trusted point of support and “weatherglass” for team issues, managing travel, expenses, purchase orders, confidential correspondence, and contributing to EHS objectives through continuous learning and engagement.
