Digital at Primark is about new ideas and ways of working. Our digital teams are at the heart of what we do, surrounded by some of the best digital specialists in the industry. We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented digital designer to join our expanding digital team. This exciting position provides the opportunity to create bespoke graphics, assets, and templates for CRM and Paid Media, as well as imagery and moving images for key marketing campaigns. The assets you create will be visible on a global scale.

We’re looking for someone who is naturally well-organised, has a passion and vision to create innovative concepts designed to optimise our online content.

What You’ll Do as a Digital Designer

Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:

  • Working across our digital channels, you will confidently deliver projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to the Primark brand guidelines while pushing boundaries creatively.
  • You will bring to life our campaign imagery for editorial use, cropping, artworking, creating GIFs, and typographic overlays.
  • Create graphical assets for a wide range of campaigns across all Primark departments, including email, animated gifs, paid media, and web.
  • Confidently work with a Digital Asset Management system to maintain all assets in a structured and organised manner.
  • Demonstrate confidence to propose new ideas and concepts.
  • Work with Paid teams across the network to create digital marketing creatives, such as content for various social media platforms to support their campaigns.
  • Support the Digital and wider Brand and Marketing teams to ensure creatives are aligned with brand look and feel across all platforms.
What You’ll Bring

Here are some of the experiences and skills you’ll need for the role:

  • Degree in Art & Design, Graphic Design, or similar, with strong fundamental design skills and industry experience.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Experience in email design (ideally Salesforce Content Builder or similar tools) and motion graphics/video editing across social media platforms.
  • Creative problem-solver with exceptional attention to detail, strong typography and layout skills, and a solid understanding of UI/UX design.
  • Highly organised and proactive, able to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused with a keen eye for imagery and layout styles, demonstrating a can-do attitude and strong problem-solving abilities.
