We’re seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Inside Account Manager to take ownership of the daily operations of our clients E-Shop and digital sales channels – including the customer portal and their company website. In this pivotal role, you’ll help drive online revenue, optimise the digital customer experience, and oversee our lead generation and tracking processes. Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all online sales platforms to ensure smooth, efficient operation and an exceptional customer experience, including supporting online transactions (registrations, password resets, payments, tax certificates, and general enquiries).
- Coordinate order fulfilment, customer service, and after-sales support to maintain consistently high satisfaction levels.
- Develop and execute plans to grow e-commerce revenue and market presence, particularly with distributors and customers with smaller annual spend.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align digital campaigns and promotions with commercial objectives.
- Monitor key performance metrics, customer behavior, and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Act as the primary liaison with the Global E-Commerce team, attending meetings and sharing relevant updates with the wider sales organisation.
- Serve as the internal subject-matter expert, providing training and guidance to colleagues and customers where required.
- Produce monthly reports for the sales management team on E-Commerce and Lead Generation performance, including KPIs such as sales, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Continually refine the online customer journey, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience from product discovery through to checkout.
- Maintain oversight of platform functionality, navigation, product listings, descriptions, and pricing, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all touchpoints.
- Develop, implement, and enhance processes for capturing, tracking, and nurturing leads from multiple incoming channels.
- Maintain accurate customer and lead data within CRM systems to support timely and effective follow-up.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing to ensure leads are properly qualified, assigned, and progressed through the sales pipeline.
- Conduct introductory and follow-up calls with prospective leads to support conversion.
- Produce reports on lead performance, campaign effectiveness, and conversion rates, offering actionable recommendations.
- Support the development and optimisation of lead generation activities using tools such as LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, Industry Select, and Sales Inbox.
- Keep up to date with e-commerce and lead management trends and technologies, recommending enhancements where appropriate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field (Preferred)
- At least 3 years’ experience in e-commerce operations, digital marketing, or lead management
- Strong proficiency in CRM platforms and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into practical insights
- High attention to detail, with a proactive and solutions-focused attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapting to shifting priorities.
