Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement of raw materials, components, and services to support production and operational needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast purchasing requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to achieve best-value outcomes.
  • Analyse market trends, supplier performance, and cost data to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant industry standards.
  • Resolve supply issues promptly to minimise disruption to operations.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination ideally within manufacturing or a similar sector.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and supplier management.
