Working out of a Bristol office, you will be part of a sales team responsible for promoting and selling a range of industrial automation products and services. This role is well suited to a technically minded individual looking to progress into technical sales and customer support within the automation industry.
You will play an active role in developing and growing the local customer base by managing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities within your assigned territory. This is an external, customer-facing position that offers long-term career development and the opportunity to grow with the business.
You will work both independently and as part of a collaborative sales team, contributing to the overall success and growth of the branch.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow sales with existing customers
- Develop new customer relationships through leads and proactive outreach
- Provide technical recommendations to meet customer requirements
- Discuss and resolve technical questions with customers
- Advise customers on product selection and configuration
- Manage customer enquiries and prepare quotations and contract proposals
- Follow up on enquiries via phone and email
- Provide technical advice and application support
- Develop familiarity with automation products including control components, sensors, PLCs, and related software
