About the Role

As the Industrial Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving business growth across the South West and South East of England. This is a dynamic, customer-facing position focused on generating new opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and promoting our full range of industrial products including Valves and Piping solutions.

You’ll act as a vital link between our customers and the business—delivering technical solutions, providing on-site support, and working closely with colleagues across the UK and internationally. With a strong foundation in engineering or technical sales, you will also support regional sales teams, provide product training, and contribute to overall commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new customers, contracts, and projects within the industrial sector
  • Generate and follow up on leads, quotations, and sales opportunities
  • Support customers directly and through coordination with internal teams
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide hands-on technical solutions
  • Deliver technical support and product training as required
  • Prepare and submit accurate reports and documentation in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the sales office and other departments to ensure excellent service

What We’re Looking For

  • Technical experience of selling Valves and Piping equipment
  • Proven experience of selling to industrial customers
  • Familiarity with engineering products, technical terminology, and tolerances
  • Knowledge of sales processes and relationship management
  • Commercially aware and customer-focused
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel across the South West and South East of England
  • Experience delivering technical training and customer support
  • Confident negotiator with a proactive, hands-on approach
  • Technically proficient and detail-oriented
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships
