The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence for a portfolio of safety products across industrial and process industry sectors. This is a fully remote role with national or regional responsibility, combining strategic business development with consultative sales activity. The role holds full sales and budget responsibility and focuses on identifying new opportunities, developing key accounts, and building long-term customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow sales of safety products within industrial and process industry markets.
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities while also developing selected strategic accounts.
- Promote and sell safety solutions using a consultative, value-based selling approach.
- Take full ownership of revenue, margin, and budget targets for the assigned territory or market segment.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, safety professionals, and procurement teams.
- Manage and maintain an accurate and transparent sales pipeline, ensuring reliable forecasting and alignment with business objectives.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of customer activity, opportunities, and communications within the CRM system.
- Work closely with internal technical, marketing, and operational teams to develop tailored solutions and support customer projects remotely.
- Collaborate with marketing colleagues to identify target sectors, campaigns, and growth initiatives.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a technical, engineering, or industrial discipline.

- Demonstrated success in winning new business and managing complex B2B sales cycles remotely.
- Strong understanding of industrial markets, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging customers virtually and in person when needed.
