Are you looking to advance your career in the Industrial Automation industry? Are you looking to join a fast-growing company and become an integral part of their sales team to cover the South West region? My client manufactures a comprehensive range of Industrial Automation products and solutions and works with a wide network of OEMs, End Users, Panel Builders and distribution customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of customer interactions.
  • Be technically knowledgeable about all product lines (Drives & PLCs etc.) sold by the business.
  • Pre-qualify requests for quotations with calls where appropriate.
  • Follow, plan, and execute both branch and nationwide sales strategies.
  • Follow up on visits and maintain records of your sales pipeline.
  • Maintain CRM records for discounts, contacts, and carriage for any customer you interact with.
  • Comfortably call non-buying, turned down, and new customers to arrange initial meetings.
  • Actively promote product benefits and value statements on LinkedIn.
  • Plan and execute marketing events throughout the financial year.
  • Take ownership of assigned accounts, monitor quotes, orders, and delivery issues, and visit customers regularly to stay informed about their business.

Qualifications:

  • HNC/HND or higher in electrical or control engineering (Not essential).
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Friendly, approachable, and enjoys speaking to people on the phone.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to regulate time under stressful conditions.
  • Proficiency in IT, especially with Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills.
