Reporting into the Shift Manager, this role is based in Bedford. You will be responsible for the smooth running of warehouse responsibilities.

Pay: £28,800.00 Per annum. Overtime is paid at time and a half.

Job description:

  • Picking, packing and loading of goods, ready for dispatch
  • Ensuring the smooth dispatch & accurate and timely loading of vehicles
  • Report any issues
  • Follow quality service standards & comply with company procedures & policies
  • Supporting in maintaining a presentable work area “Clean as you go”

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Must have current, valid reach truck licence
  • Proven working experience as a warehouse operative
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices & methods
  • Good organisational & time management skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Strong communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Creative problem solving
