To help fuel that growth, we need an Engineering Manager to join our Claims Data Management team. This team is the beating heart of Prima. You’ll be joining over +350 engineers across software development, infrastructure, operations and security. Fueled by curiosity, experimentation and collaboration, you’ll help deliver scalable, impactful solutions that shape the future of insurance.

What you’ll do:
- Define and drive the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities for a team of 3 to 6 engineers
- Take ownership of architectural decisions, overseeing implementation while ensuring maintainability, reliability, scalability, and security
- Support the development team in delivering high-impact initiatives on time
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, while maintaining an engaging and motivating work environment

What we’re looking for:
- Strong hands-on background with 5+ years in data engineering (e.g. SQL, Python, Spark or similar distributed processing frameworks)
- 2+ years in a leadership role, managing engineering teams, overseeing development processes, and driving technical decisions
- Experience designing and operating reliable data pipelines in production (batch and ideally streaming / event-driven systems) and making data modelling decisions
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with non-technical stakeholders and external business partners
- Proven ability to lead initiatives from inception to successful delivery, collecting business requirements and converting them into actionable technical ones
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with event-driven architectures (e.g. Kafka or similar)
- Experience with modern cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS, Databricks, Redshift or similar)
- Experience evolving domain data models in operationally complex environments
