Are you looking for a new challenge? Fancy helping us shape the future of motor insurance? Prima could be the place for you. Since 2015, we’ve been using our love of data and tech to rethink motor insurance and bring drivers a great experience at a great price. Our story began in Italy, where we’ve quickly become the number one online motor insurance provider. In fact, we’re trusted by over 5 million drivers. And now we’re expanding to help millions more drivers in the UK and Spain.

To help fuel that growth, we need a Product Manager to join our Payments Domain. You will join the global Payments & Accounting product group, responsible for designing intuitive payment flows, seamless reconciliation systems, and high-accuracy reporting tools. Our mission is to abstract away technical and operational payment complexities, empowering Prima’s Sales, Customer Support and Finance teams with reliable, friction-free internal tooling.

Excited to make an impact? Here are the details.

  • Product definition: Identify, evaluate, and prioritise product opportunities by combining customer insights, business needs, and quantitative analysis, within payments and finance areas. Define and monitor success metrics, using data to continuously improve product performance.
  • Prioritization and planning: Prioritising and planning the product development efforts, by partnering with the development team, product and business leaders.
  • Product delivery: Collaborating with a cross-functional agile team to deliver on your plans, organising and taking part in the day-to-day work and making sure that everyone is working towards the same goals.
  • Stakeholder management: Your stakeholders will include the finance, sales, pricing & underwriting departments, senior management and any Prima business area with an interest in the online sales flow. You will be responsible for gathering information about their needs and priorities, synthesising them in your product roadmap and specs, and keeping them updated and aligned.

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 3 years of experience as product manager of software products working in a cross-functional team.
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or another discipline with a strong quantitative foundation.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technically and strategically complex concepts to all audiences at all levels.
  • A pragmatic approach, the ability to thrive under the pressure of hitting targets.
  • A good understanding/awareness of data modelling and data implications when defining products.
  • Curiosity, ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Nice-to Have:

  • Knowledge of the insurance sector or other regulated industries.
  • Experience with product analytics, experimentation, or A/B testing.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or data visualisation tools.
  • Experience with AI tools to improve product discovery and delivery.

£47,500 - £58,000 a year.

Why you’ll love it here:

  • Work Your Way: Enjoy hybrid working, with a mix of home and office days. Plus, for up to 30 days per year, work from anywhere.
  • Grow with us: We may move fast at Prima, but we move together. Get access to learning resources, mentorship and a growth plan tailored to you.
  • Thrive and perform: Your best work begins when you feel your best. Enjoy private healthcare, gym discounts, wellbeing programs and mental health support.

Bring specific insights on tools like JIRA or Trello that can help streamline these processes.
