Proven experience as a Data Engineer working with Azure, Databricks, and the Microsoft technology stack.

Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in data modelling and database design.

Deep understanding of data platform architecture and solution design.

Hands-on experience implementing data solutions across various platforms and tools.

Ability to write clean, maintainable code to build scalable data pipelines and integrations.

Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of successful project delivery.

Experience working directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Ability to lead or mentor junior team members on data engineering best practices.

Desirable:

  • Experience in customer-facing consulting roles with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of machine learning or AI concepts and their application within data platforms.
  • Familiarity with systems integration, including REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with tools such as SSIS, Azure Synapse, Amazon Redshift, Oracle DB, or ODI.
  • Exposure to modern BI and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or MicroStrategy.
  • Understanding of general IT architecture and cloud-based data solutions.
  • Experience delivering projects within Agile environments and working collaboratively across teams.
  • STEM degree or equivalent technical education.
