Vehicle Technician – Independent Garage Are you a Vehicle Technician looking for a new challenge? Established independent garage looking to add an experienced Technician to the team! Salary up to £42,000 DOE + OTE £50,000 + overtime at time & a half Monday – Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm | No weekend work My client is a well-established and busy independent garage looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their friendly and experienced team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technician who is looking for a long-term position within an independent garage where quality workmanship, a good working environment and work-life balance are genuinely valued. You’ll be joining a supportive team and working on a variety of vehicles, with plenty of opportunity to use and develop your mechanical and diagnostic skills. Carry out routine servicing and maintenance to a high standard. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults. Complete brake, suspension, exhaust, clutch and timing belt work. Carry out vehicle inspections and identify any additional work required. Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent. Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician. Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills. Full UK driving licence. MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
