Location: Liverpool, Wirral, Sefton - On Site
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of repairs, maintenance, and improvement works, primarily focusing on kitchen and bathroom replacements in occupied and void properties.
- Carry out responsive repairs and void works as required.
- Effectively locate properties using maps and directions.
- Organize daily tasks independently, prioritizing jobs and appointments.
- Assist colleagues to ensure timely completion of work.
- Document all work orders and job sheets accurately, and produce reports on work undertaken and properties visited.
- Communicate effectively with internal staff, colleagues, managers, and customers.
- Support colleagues and undertake additional duties as directed by the manager.
- Complete jobs according to priority and deadlines.
- Participate in health and safety training and relevant informational sessions.
- Contribute to the group's goal of becoming the 'contractor of choice' by delivering excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
- Engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) relevant to their professional body and undertake necessary training.
- Perform other duties as assigned, aligned with skills and experience.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 (desirable)
Skills & Competencies:
- Competent in at least three trades, including two in Joinery and Plumbing, with a third from Plastering or Tiling.
- Methodical, accurate, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Self-motivated with a strong initiative to meet targets.
- Ability to work under deadlines and achieve targets.
- Full awareness of health and safety requirements.
- Experience working with Housing Associations and delivering repairs is desirable.
- Full driving license.
