To help fuel that growth, we need an iOS Engineer to join our Mobile Customer Experience team. This team is the beating heart of Prima. You’ll be joining over 300 engineers across software development, infrastructure, operations and security. Fueled by curiosity, experimentation and collaboration, you’ll help deliver scalable, impactful solutions that shape the future of insurance.

Responsibilities- Collaborate daily with a talented cross-functional team of Software Engineers and Product experts to shape and deliver outstanding features for millions of users.
- Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle, from influencing initial design and architecture discussions to ensuring a smooth release.
- Champion a user-centric approach, delivering value incrementally and ensuring every update enhances the customer experience and improves app resilience.
- Write elegant, high-performance, and reliable Swift code.
- Uphold our high standards for code quality by conducting thoughtful code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and championing our team’s coding conventions.
- Tackle the exciting challenge of international expansion, helping us launch and scale our iOS application in the UK and Spanish markets.
- Proven expertise in native iOS development, with strong proficiency in Swift, the language our app is built on.
- Extensive experience with Apple’s core frameworks, including a solid foundation in UIKit, SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency (async/await, actors) and Core Data.
- Experience in using Swift Package Manager (SPM) both for dependencies management and code modularisation.
- A dedication to quality, with hands-on experience writing UI and unit tests using native frameworks (XCTest, XCUITest, Swift Testing).
- A user-focused mindset, with a strong appreciation for building interfaces that adhere to Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines (HIG).
- Strong English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- A proactive and curious mindset, with a collaborative spirit and a genuine passion for teamwork.
- Knowledge of GraphQL (and the Apollo GraphQL client).
- Basic knowledge of TCA (The Composable Architecture).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub Actions.
- Experience with backend development.
