As a Joiner/Multi Skilled you will be completing all repair and improvement work safely, efficiently and to client satisfaction. You will actively participate in ensuring any safeguarding or repair concerns are noted and reported.
Location: Liverpool, Sefton, Wirral
Salary: £32,302 Per annum
Main Duties:
- To be able to perform a range of repairs, maintenance and improvement works as required.
- To be able to locate properties in various surrounding areas and effectively use a map and take directions.
- To organise daily jobs effectively and independently, taking into consideration job priority and appointments made.
- To assist colleagues in ensuring timely completion of jobs.
- To document all orders and job sheets efficiently and produce accurate reports regarding works undertaken and properties visited.
- To communicate effectively with internal office staff, colleagues, managers and customers.
- To perform other duties as appropriate to the job level, including providing support to colleagues as directed by the manager.
- To complete jobs in priority and completion date order.
- To attend and participate in training and information sessions relating to health and safety and relevant processes.
- To help us to achieve our aim of becoming the 'contractor of choice' by providing excellent service to our customers and working closely with our partners.
- To ensure compliance with the Group’s health and safety policies.
- To undertake relevant Continuing Professional Development (CPD) applicable to their professional body and be prepared to undertake training as directed by the Group.
- The post holder may be directed by their line manager to carry out other duties and responsibilities in line with his/her post, grade, skills, knowledge and experience.
Person Requirements:
- NVQ level 2 qualification in core trade (or equivalent).
- NVQ level 3 is desirable.
- Full driving licence.
- Strong commitment to customer service excellence.
- Takes pride in quality of work.
- Demonstrates drive and resilience.
- Self-starting and self-motivated.
