The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week. Weekly rotating shifts – Days/Back Shifts/Night Shift.

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to take a leading role within our operation. This is a hands-on, people-focused position where you’ll oversee daily warehouse activities, support a strong team culture, and help us maintain high standards in safety, quality, stock accuracy and operational flow.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment, brings strong leadership, and enjoys finding better ways of doing things.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all warehouse activities during your shift, ensuring smooth running of goods-in, dispatch, stock movement and storage.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through accurate picking, receiving and dispatching of goods.
  • Ensure warehouse processes are followed safely and effectively, including H&S, 5S, SOPs and food safety standards.
  • Complete daily warehouse inspections and maintain excellent housekeeping (5S).
  • Organise stock rotation, conduct regular stock counts and support inventory accuracy.
  • Manage FLT and pallet truck allocation to ensure full operational capacity.
  • Coordinate with production, planning, technical, and transport to maintain workflow and resolve issues quickly.
  • Support continuous improvement projects and encourage team involvement in finding better, safer, smarter ways of working.
People Management
  • Lead, support, and motivate a team of production operatives, ensuring they work safely and effectively.
  • Develop a high-performing team culture with clear expectations and positive reinforcement.
  • Actively promote inclusion, respect, and well-being among all staff.
  • Handle team management duties such as resource planning, holiday approval, absence management, and performance conversations.
  • Escalate disciplinary and grievance matters appropriately and in line with company procedures.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in a warehouse supervisory role is essential.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, goods-in/out processes and FLT management.
  • Confident people leader with the ability to coach, motivate and support others.
  • Positive, strong mindset with the ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
  • FLT Counterbalance licence (essential).
  • Comfortable working in a busy, multicultural environment and promoting a respectful team culture.
  • Good IT literacy (Excel, warehouse systems) and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Training & Development Requirements

We are committed to ensuring full support and training, the successful applicant must be willing to undertake:

  • Level 1 & 2 Food Safety Training if not already held.
  • In-house people management training, aligned with our company values and management expectations.
  • If not already held, accredited external training in people management, delivered by a recognised provider.

Completion of these training programmes is mandatory and forms part of your success in the role.
