Quality Control Technician

One of the biggest cheese suppliers for foodservice and food manufacturing within the UK, exporting our products to over 55 countries worldwide, Prima continues to grow its domestic and international footprint and has an exciting role for a part-time QC Technician to join our company.

Are you a good communicator, organised, and detail-oriented with high levels of accuracy? If so, this role could be for you! The successful candidate will be developing, maintaining, and verifying internal checks such as incoming goods testing (raw materials). They will also conduct and monitor finished product testing and record findings on the Cheese Testing database. Scanning and maintaining paperwork to ensure traceability and the organisation of samples will also be a part of day-to-day at Prima.

A degree in Food Science and Nutrition is desirable along with experience in a food factory environment with an understanding of quality, food safety, and new product development.

What you will need:

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Degree in Food Science and Nutrition.
• Experience in a food factory environment with an understanding of quality, food safety, and new product development.
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
• Organisation and the ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility in shift pattern.
