Are you looking for a new challenge? Fancy helping us shape the future of motor insurance? Prima could be the place for you. Since 2015, we’ve been using our love of data and tech to rethink motor insurance and bring drivers a great experience at a great price. Our story began in Italy, where we’ve quickly become the number one online motor insurance provider. In fact, we’re trusted by over 5 million drivers. And now we’re expanding to help millions more drivers in the UK and Spain.
To help fuel that growth, we need a Claims Strategy Associate to join our Claims UK team to help us build the future of Motor Claims Management in the UK. Reporting directly to the UK Head of Claims, and with responsibility for overseeing a UK Claims Data Analyst, this role will be an integral driver of strategic decision-making as we insource Claims Management, and build a highly effective, efficient operating model.
Excited to make an impact? Here are the details:
- Build a rich and comprehensive suite of Claims Intelligence to support the Head of Claims in ensuring that operations are effective and that our broader strategy is being delivered.
- Translate complex statistical findings into simple, meaningful, and high-impact insights which can be put directly into action within the business.
- Work with our UK Claims Data Analyst to build early-warning systems for Claims, allowing us to focus on areas that matter most.
- Lead deep-dive pieces of analysis around specific topics, as well as incubating operational improvement initiatives where relevant.
- Assume line management responsibility for the UK Claims Data Analyst, providing coaching, mentoring, and a clear roadmap for professional development.
What we’re looking for:
- 2-4 years experience at a top-tier Consulting firm, Investment Manager, Private Equity firm, or Investment Bank (ideally with exposure to Operations).
- Ability to mix strong quantitative analytical skills with commercial acumen in order to drive actionable business insights.
- Whilst you might not be coding directly, strong fluency with data is essential.
- Strong interest in Motor Insurance and Technology / AI developments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively represent Prima to external parties and interact with other departments and stakeholders within Prima.
- Strong attention to detail, with a problem-solving attitude.
- Comfortable working in a growing / scale-up business environment.
Benefits:
- Enjoy hybrid working, with a mix of home and office days.
- 25 Days Holiday.
- Pension plan: salary sacrifice pension scheme 5%, employer contribution, up to 5% employee contribution.
- Health & Protection Benefits: Private Medical Insurance (single cover); Permanent Health Insurance (Income Protection); Life Assurance (Death in Service); EAP, employee assistance programme 24/7.
