Porsche Classics Limited is a world leading specialist in historic Porsche engineering based in North Essex. We look after and work on exceptional examples of Porsche cars ranging from 911's and 356's to GT and Group C Le Mans winning cars. We specialise in a full range of services covering every aspect of classic Porsche ownership such as servicing, restoration, engine and gearbox rebuilds and consultancy in sales and acquisition. We also prepare cars and provide race support for historic motorsport events such as Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Members' Meeting and internationally: Le Mans Classic, Tour Auto and Rennsport Reunion.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our already well-established team. The ideal candidates will be keen to work on some of the best classic Porsches and to demonstrate their skills and ability in this specialist field. We are also looking for candidates whose skills and experience span other roles, for example experience in restoration or engine/gearbox building.

  • Service, maintenance and recommissioning of predominantly pre-1974 Porsches.
  • Preparation of rally and race cars, including opportunities for racetrack support at UK and European historic race events.
  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on automotive experience in a workplace environment.
  • Good foresight and planning - ability to assess a job and foresee issues.
  • Completion of an automotive apprenticeship is an advantage but not essential.

  • 20 days holiday plus 8 public holidays.
