To professionalise our product development and continue our growth path, we are currently looking for a senior backend developer.
The Role
The position is embedded in the broader strategy to transform a service lead company into a product lead company. The goal is to improve the quality and the range of our SaaS solutions to serve our global client base with products enabling them to manage complex regulatory requirements for the digital ecosystems. The role is at the core of this strategy and you will work closely with our product team and frontend engineers to help define products and feature requirements and execute on them. Part of the role as well is to contribute in discussions and decision making on strategy and building not only the products but also the company.
Skills Required
- Senior backend skills with at least 5 years of experience with Java, and a good understanding of Python (FastAPI, Flaskβ¦), SQL based databases
- Must have a high comfort level with source control (git), agile development and CI/CD
- Organisational skills and team lead quality
- Excellent communication skills, especially also in English
- Availability during normal business hours (CET)
- Fast learning and openness to new and changing tasks
- Humour and the ability to make others laugh and to inspire
Advantageous
- Full stack development skills: React, Vue.js or Angular
- Experience working in startups and in small teams
- Experience with compliance software
