Quantity Surveyor / Estimator – Job Description

Overview
Pride Developments Group Ltd. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our growing commercial team. The role will involve working across a range of commercial projects, including works for local authorities and major FM providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing cost estimates and tender submissions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Pricing works and preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations
- Assisting with procurement and commercial management of projects
- Monitoring costs and supporting financial reporting through the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Background in Quantity Surveying / Estimating within construction
- Strong understanding of tendering and cost management
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Relevant qualification (or equivalent experience) preferred
