Do you want to work in an ambitious school with a supportive team, willing and enthusiastic children in an idyllic, rural location? The Governors of Priddy & St Lawrence’s Federation are looking to recruit a highly motivated, talented and enthusiastic pre-school teaching assistant to join our successful Federation. This is a full-time permanent contract, to start in September 2026. Salary - £12.85 - £13.05 - Pay award pending.
Our Saplings pre-school currently has 17 children on roll; ages range from 2-year-olds to 4 years and 11 months. Our pre-school is part of our federation which has 99 happy and motivated children attending. Our vision is ‘Working together to be the best we can be’ and we expect our children, staff and parents to adhere to this. Our core values of compassion, perseverance and courage underpin all that we do.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a dedicated professional with the ability to inspire children within the EYFS
- Is used to working in positive and proactive ways and collaborating with others to drive high expectations supporting the overall school improvement
- Is energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, resilient and caring
- Has experience of working within a team, sharing excellent practice
- Will work effectively as part of a close team of staff and in partnership with parents and the community
- Will be happy to support the Christian ethos through our school values
