About the role
Expand your career as Tax Director | Private Client in our Manchester city centre office. Our Private Client team advises a diverse range of clients, including wealthy individuals, international families, trusts, and entrepreneurial businesses. We provide holistic tax advice, focusing on wealth owners and their business structures. Collaborating across PwC, we deliver comprehensive solutions to help clients achieve their goals. This leadership role offers the chance to work on an all-Ireland basis within the UK tax network, providing access to UK specialists. You’ll deliver robust, value-added private client tax advice to our local clients.
What your days will look like
- Lead the Local Tax Private Client team in Manchester, advising HNWIs, trusts, privately owned businesses, and private equity on complex tax matters.
- Manage senior stakeholders across the Irish and UK PwC network and develop new client relationships within the all-Ireland market.
- Build and manage a diverse portfolio of client engagements, collaborating across PwC to deliver complex projects and foster strong client relationships.
- Serve as a subject matter expert by staying current with tax law changes, providing technical guidance, and coaching the local Private Client team.
This role is for you if
- Must possess a ACA and/or CTA Qualification (or an international equivalent).
- You possess extensive, up-to-date UK tax knowledge, with experience handling complex tax matters for private wealth clients.
- You have a proven track record in business development, identifying and creating profitable opportunities and value propositions for both new and existing clients.
- Your strong project management and communication skills enable you to manage demanding client projects effectively, acting as the primary point of contact and supporting various stakeholders.
- You are proficient in written communication, coaching, and delegation, and you use technology efficiently to manage relationships, pursue opportunities, and oversee deliverables.
