Job Description & Summary

Job Description

About the role:

At PwC, we help organisations transform how they attract, develop, engage and manage their people. Workday is often a key enabler of this transformation, but our work goes beyond technology implementation. We help clients simplify processes, improve employee experience, strengthen data foundations and realise measurable value from their workforce technology investments.

As a Workday Manager within our Workforce Transformation practice, you will play a delivery-focused role on Workday programmes, leading client delivery teams while also contributing hands-on to the work. You will manage complex workstreams, guide and support Workday teams, shape practical solutions and remain close enough to the detail to review design decisions, resolve delivery issues and help ensure high-quality outcomes across the programme lifecycle.

This is a role for someone who enjoys working with and leading Workday delivery teams, building trusted client relationships and developing others, while continuing to deepen their own hands-on expertise in Workday, HR technology and workforce transformation.

What your days will look like:

  • Lead Workday delivery teams and workstreams across HCM, Talent, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation, Payroll, Absence, Time, Reporting, Integrations, Security and Data Migration, while providing hands-on input to solution design, configuration, testing and issue resolution.

  • Act as a Functional, Solution or Workstream Lead, owning delivery planning, quality, stakeholder engagement, risks and issues to ensure successful programme outcomes.

  • Facilitate client workshops, challenge requirements constructively and help design future-state processes that improve ways of working rather than replicate existing practices.

  • Translate business requirements into practical Workday solutions that support strategic objectives, enhance user experience and deliver measurable business value.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide clients through all programme phases—from discovery and design to deployment, adoption and optimisation—bringing strong problem-solving skills and delivery discipline throughout.

This role is for you if:

  • Current Workday certification with strong delivery experience across one or more Workday product areas and a proven track record in implementation, optimisation or transformation programmes.

  • Experience leading Workday workstreams or teams, with responsibility for delivery quality, project planning, risk management and successful outcomes.

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions that deliver business value.

  • Excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge requirements constructively and influence decision-making.

  • Commercially aware team player who is passionate about developing others, building high-performing teams and contributing to practice growth and business development.

What you will get from us

You will join an established Workday and Workforce Transformation practice with access to challenging client work, experienced colleagues and the wider PwC network. You will have opportunities to develop your consulting, technology, leadership and commercial skills while contributing to work that helps clients transform the way their people experience work.

We offer a range of benefits designed to support you at work and outside work, including empowered flexibility, hybrid working across office, home and client site, private medical cover, access to wellbeing support and volunteering days.
