Job Description & Summary
Women in Business
We’re committed to improving gender balance at PwC and to increasing the visibility of female leaders across the firm. While women make up 44% of our early careers hires, female talent remains underrepresented in our industry, especially at senior levels.
This programme is designed to inspire and support undergraduates interested in professional services, while giving them the opportunity to hear from women at PwC about their careers and experiences. Come and meet the inspiring women who are leading PwC into the future.
Audit and Assurance
On our Audit and Assurance programmes, you’ll get a backstage pass to some of the most interesting and dynamic organisations in the world. Audit at PwC is fast-moving, stimulating and full of opportunity, few careers offer such accelerated responsibility and client exposure. Collaboration is fundamental to everything we do, so you’ll learn from supportive colleagues, senior leaders, clients and experts across our global network. The people you work with and grow alongside makes Audit at PwC truly special.
To do our work, we need to understand how a client’s business functions, so our people get an incredible grounding in all kinds of industries and sectors. You’ll work directly with clients, experiencing everything from the warehouse to the boardroom. You’ll see how CEOs and CFOs work and gain a unique perspective on how different organisations do business and deliver value.
When an organisation makes financial, sustainability and performance statements, we are trusted by its board, its shareholders and stakeholders, government regulators and, crucially, the markets, to ensure that the data is fair and accurate.
Our teams verify the credibility and reliability of all kinds of data, creating transparency and trust by bringing independent rigour to the information that underpins the economy. We’re redefining the future of Audit and embedding the latest technology into every aspect of our work. You’ll work with cutting-edge digital tools and AI, while helping clients ensure they have the systems, internal controls, governance policies and risk management processes in place to deliver information accurately and effectively.
Every day brings new opportunities to stretch yourself, take ownership and enhance your expertise, opening up a whole range of potential career paths.
What you’ll need
You are in the first year of an undergraduate degree in any subject;
Or in your second year of a four-year degree in any subject.
When you apply, we’ll also ask for your location preference. If you successfully complete the recruitment process, we’ll then let you know which office you’ll be based in during the three-day programme. Please be aware that we may not be able to offer you your first-choice office location.
