About the role
PwCβs Strategy& Technology team within Strategy & Operations, focuses on advising clients across the deal lifecycle β from pre-deal data and AI assessments through to post-deal separation, integration, and transformation planning & delivery. You will be part of a high-growth team at the intersection of technology, data, AI, strategy, and deals, working on complex and high-profile transactions. This role offers the opportunity to shape critical data and AI decisions that directly impact deal value and transformation outcomes.
You will lead data architecture thinking, shape client recommendations, and oversee delivery of data strategies, target-state architectures, and value-led data solutions. A core part of the role is translating business value into data strategy, including underpinning value from GenAI platforms and agents, optimising data generation, collation and storage for data monetisation or platform valuation, and supporting integration or IT estate transformation β particularly across front-office sales and marketing, and between product, finance, and sales.
What your days will look like:
Lead end-to-end data & AI due diligence assessments, covering architecture, governance, platforms, and readiness
Identify risks, technical debt, and value creation opportunities across data and AI landscapes
Translate data architecture into clear commercial insights, including GenAI efficiency, monetisation, and deal value
Define target-state architectures and transition strategies for integrations, carve-outs, and transformations
Oversee data separation, migration, orchestration, and modernisation, including AI-enabled approaches
Act as a senior advisor and leader, driving stakeholder engagement and delivering high-quality outcomes across deals and transformations
This role is for you if:
Strong experience in enterprise and solution-level data architecture and design
Ability to translate business value into data strategy and architecture outcomes
Experience across modern data landscapes and key domains (Product, Sales Order, Customer)
Expertise in data orchestration, operationalising models, and AI-driven migration
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Commercially focused professional with consulting/deals experience and familiarity with Private Equity and AI-enabled data foundations
