What your days will look like:
- Support the design and delivery of Manufacturing and Quality transformation across complex SAP S/4HANA programmes, working alongside Solution Architects and Senior Managers to help clients optimise production and quality processes.
- Work with Manufacturing, Operations and Quality stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP-enabled solutions across Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM).
- Configure and support the delivery of SAP PP/QM capabilities including Production Planning, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Control, MRP, Production Orders, Quality Planning, Quality Inspection and Quality Notifications, aligned to SAP best practice and clean-core principles.
- Collaborate with Business Change, Supply Chain, Data, AI and Cloud specialists to deliver integrated transformation outcomes across manufacturing operations.
- Help clients explore how SAP Business AI, Joule and intelligent technologies can improve production planning, manufacturing performance, quality management and operational decision-making.
- Support business development through client workshops, discovery engagements, proposals and solution demonstrations.
- Coach junior consultants whilst continuing to develop your own SAP Manufacturing, consulting and leadership capability.
The role is for you if:
- You have experience delivering Manufacturing transformation as part of end-to-end SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA implementation programmes.
- You have strong functional knowledge across SAP Production Planning and Quality Management, including demand and supply planning integration, MRP, production orders, process orders, capacity planning, shop floor control, confirmations, quality planning, quality inspection, quality notifications and usage decisions.
- Lead PP/QM master data design and readiness activities, working with Manufacturing, Operations, Quality and Data teams to define, cleanse, validate and migrate key objects such as material master, BOMs, routings, work centres, production versions, MRP parameters, inspection plans, master inspection characteristics, sampling procedures, quality info records and batch/serial traceability data.
- You understand SAP Manufacturing best practices, clean-core principles and the latest innovations, including SAP Business AI, Joule and intelligent manufacturing capabilities.
- You understand key integration points across PP/QM with MM, SD, EWM/WM, PM, Finance and Master Data, including procurement of materials, production supply, goods movements, batch/serial traceability, quality inspection, inventory postings and cost-relevant manufacturing transactions.
- You enjoy working with Manufacturing, Operations and Quality stakeholders to solve business challenges and improve operational performance.
- You enjoy taking ownership of workstreams, mentoring junior consultants and developing your consulting and leadership capability.
- You have experience supporting solution design, configuration, testing, deployment and business transformation activities across SAP Manufacturing programmes.
- You're collaborative, commercially minded and motivated by helping clients modernise manufacturing operations whilst building your own consulting career.
