About the role

Are you ready to make a tangible impact with our clients in the private sector? Join our well-established and rapidly expanding team within PwC's Supply Chain, Procurement and Legal Transformation team, where we specialise in delivering transformative commercial solutions for our clients. The primary focus of this Senior Manager consulting role is to be at the forefront of driving value and excellence for our Consumer markets and Technology/Media clients across the procurement lifecycle.

In this pivotal role, you will leverage your deep expertise in Procurement, Cost Reduction, Operations Improvement, and Digital Transformation to deliver strategic insights and lead complex projects. Your work will enhance efficiency and reduce costs while supporting our clients' digital innovation and procurement transformation journeys.

This role will be based in either London, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow or Edinburgh.

What your days will look like:

  • Analyse current operational practices and identify areas for improvement to streamline Procurement processes and increase efficiency.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with client goals and industry standards.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Conduct thorough cost analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies within the supply chain.
  • Develop and implement cost management strategies that align with client objectives and industry best practices.
  • Guide clients through the digital transformation journey for their Procurement functions, from strategy development to implementation.
  • Identify opportunities for digital innovation, including automation, data analytics, and advanced technologies.
  • Lead project teams, manage project timelines, and ensure deliverables meet client expectations and quality standards.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

This role is for you if:

  • Extensive Procurement experience with a focus on cost reduction, operations improvement, and digital transformation.
  • Demonstrable Consulting experience and proven track record of delivering successful projects in a Consulting role.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a proven track record of delivering significant cost out across the end-to-end value chain.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies, such as data analytics software, and source to pay solutions.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet client needs.
