About the role:
As EMEA Sales Director for Workday Managed Services, you will lead business development and sales execution across the region, focusing on identifying and qualifying opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and supporting territory teams in shaping and closing deals. This strategic role is focused on end-to-end deal ownership—from Workday FIN, HR and Payroll implementation through to long-term multi-tower Managed Services delivery, including AES, HR and Payroll MS, embedded compliance, AI-enabled controls, and industry-specific monitoring. You will work closely with the Solution Architect and Workday Delivery leaders to apply a unified go-to-market strategy, leveraging PwC’s model tenant approach and AI-enabled capabilities.
You will report directly to the EMEA Workday Managed Services Leader, as part of the EMEA Workday Alliance, and will also maintain a dotted-line reporting relationship with the broader EMEA Managed Services team to ensure comprehensive alignment across all strategic growth areas. The purpose of the EMEA Alliances team is to channel and spearhead our growth in the tech-enabled transformation space, by working even more closely with our technology partners and clients, and focusing on large scale, cross-territory transformational portfolios of work. This strategic role spans multiple sectors, with an initial focus on Insurance and Professional & Business Services and will drive origination across priority territories including the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Sweden, and the Middle East.
What your days will look like:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Own and drive the sales strategy for Workday Managed Services across EMEA. Identify and qualify opportunities aligned with PwC’s model tenant and modular offerings. Manage the sales pipeline and ensure consistent progress from origination to closure. Collaborate with territory teams to shape client proposals and support deal execution. Ensure continuity and strategic alignment from implementation through Managed Services phases.
- Client Engagement & Market Penetration: Build and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders and Workday alliance contacts. Position PwC’s differentiated value proposition in Finance and HR Managed Services. Represent PwC at industry events and forums to elevate brand visibility and thought leadership.
- Cross-Territory Collaboration: Work closely with local territory teams to tailor solutions to market-specific needs. Align with delivery hubs (e.g. Poland, Tunisia) and offshore/nearshore teams to ensure seamless handover and execution. Partner with the EMEA Solution Architect to ensure solution integrity and delivery readiness.
- Alliance Management: Maintain and grow strategic relationships with Workday and other technology partners. Align PwC’s go-to-market strategy with alliance objectives and joint offerings. Serve as the strategic point of contact for alliance sales coordination. Driving Alliance sales and marketing campaigns that differentiate PwC to drive incremental revenue and confirm that follow-up activities are taking place.
This role is for you if:
- Proven experience/track record in Workday and/or SaaS solution selling.
- Familiarity with Managed Services commercial models and subscription-based offerings.
- Strong understanding of finance transformation and technology-enabled service delivery.
- Ability to work across multiple territories and sectors, navigating complex stakeholder environments.
- Demonstrates success in driving large-scale sales initiatives and closing strategic deals.
- Ability to motivate and inspire teams through change and ambiguity.
- Strong influencing, negotiating and facilitation skills.

- Strong people management and coaching skills.
- Experience in selling Workday Finance and/or HR solutions.
- Understanding of model tenant configurations approach and modular service offerings.
- Fluency in English; additional EMEA languages a plus.
- Experience working in a matrixed, cross-border environment.
