In Lead Advisory we offer a full range of financial advisory services to our clients across corporate finance, which includes acquisitions and disposals for corporate and private equity clients, restructuring M&A, valuations and debt & capital advisory. We operate across all industry sectors – clients range from corporates and private equity houses, to major government departments and private sector contractors and developers.
In our TMT M&A team we advise a combination of private business, private equity and corporate entities on a combination of divestitures, mergers, acquisitions and strategic options. We work collaboratively with our Lead Advisory colleagues at all stages of a deal cycle, and often work with our clients for multiple years on a variety of transactions. We are a sector focused team, specialising across the Technology space, focused around Software, IT Services, Digital Media & Platforms, B2B Data, Fintech and Telecommunications.
As a Senior Associate within the team, the individual would expect to be involved in the following types of work:
- Day to day project work on live transactions
- Business development activities
- Financial modelling and analysis of transactions
- Commercial due diligence and economic feasibility analysis
- Performing valuations and returns analysis
- Preparation of client deliverables
- Industry/company specific research
- Project options appraisal
Responsibilities include:
- Learning of technical skills to assist in the work we do, for example, in financial modelling and valuations
- Training and leading staff
- Contributing to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
- Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
- Establishing effective working relationships directly with clients
- Continuing to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
- Keeping up to date with local and national business and economic issues
- Being actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Must possess an ACA Qualification (or an international equivalent)
- Wide range of client experience and a passion for client collaboration, with an interest in the TMT space
- Experience of writing reports
- Highly proficient Excel and modelling skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Agile working style with strong team-working skills
- Strong time management skills under tight deadlines
- High ambition coupled with the ability to deliver and to work effectively in teams
- Ability to grasp complex commercial issues quickly
