About the role
We’re looking for high-performing Senior Manager to join the Quality Centre for US Audits Team within Audit Risk and Quality. This is an opportunity to work as part of a specialist national team, supporting the UK firm on PCAOB, US GAAS and US audit methodology matters.
In this role, you’ll support Foreign Private Issuers, US Domestic Registrants and US inbound component engagement teams by providing technical advice, developing guidance, delivering training and helping teams resolve complex audit and risk management matters. This secondment would suit someone with strong technical US audit experience who enjoys problem solving, working with senior stakeholders and supporting the delivery of high-quality audits across a varied and challenging portfolio.
What your days will look like
- You’ll play a key role in supporting audit teams with US audit matters, helping them navigate technical, methodology and risk management issues.
- Provide technical advice and guidance on PCAOB, US GAAS, SOx and PwC audit methodology matters.
- Support engagement teams with consultations, complex audit issues and risk management queries.
- Develop and update US methodology, guidance materials and technical training.
- Support PCAOB inspection preparation and wider US capital markets activity, including IPOs, GAAS bridging and 3-05 engagements.
This role is for you if
- You must possess a US CPA qualification (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
- You have strong working knowledge of PCAOB and US GAAS auditing standards.
- You have experience working on PCAOB audits or in a SOx environment.
- You have strong practical and technical auditing experience.
- You can manage multiple priorities and work with stakeholders across different teams.
- You have experience managing people, workloads and individual tasks.
